A year and a half or so ago, I was asked to do some work rearranging the Elton John song “Hello, Hello,” for Gnomeo and Juliet. Though my participation went uncredited, I saw the movie this past weekend and I was very pleased to hear the James Newton-Howard chose to use most of my work. If you happen to see the film, much of the arranging until the 2nd verse was very close to what I did. Really exciting!
