Working for the Disney parks is a blast. It’s also a little confusing. We write and produce Halloween music beginning at Easter time and this year we started the Easter project at Halloween! 10 years ago, Halloween was a little known event in Japan. Tokyo Disneyland decided to begin a celebration each year. It has grown into their biggest event of the year and this past year they produced 3 new shows for it.
This year they decided that it was time to do an Easter parade and introduce that holiday to the Japanese public. Hopefully, it will be a hit and we’ll be celebrating Easter in Japan for many years to come! I arranged all of the music for the show and wrote one of the theme songs ‘Spring Into the Season.’ There are 3 other original songs in the show written by my friends at the Imagination House in Orlando, Jonathan Barr, Mike Avila and Rick McKee. It’s always a treat to work on their great songs. I’m so fortunate to know them and to get to work with them. What a blast – Happy Easter!
