After the success of Yuri and Mijares, I was contacted by Guadalupe Pineda to produce and arrange a record for her. This one will be interesting because in addition to producing and arranging I’ll be mixing as well. Co-producing this project with me will be my great friend (and Latin music advisor) Cristina Abaroa. Musicians this time will include the amazing Ramon Stagnaro playing guitar, Bart Samolis on bass, Tim Pierce, of course, on guitar, and live percussion at some point. The goal is to have the album released for Christmas. It will be a romantic album some classic Latin standards and some more current songs that soon will be Latin standards.
