Disneyland Paris – Here I Come!

Next week I’ll  be in Paris for a couple days and have an opportunity to visit Disneyland during my stay.  Aside from the fact that it’s Paris – hello?!….it’s a double thrill for me.  Can you imagine, after all these years of doing music for the Disney Parks.  I’ve never heard any of my work in the park.  Next week will change all that when I’m there for the 20th Anniversary Celebration train.  I’m also looking forward to hearing my good friend Marco’s song in the day parade and Joel McNeely’s great work on the new castle show.  Pictures and stories when I return from my trip!

 

Disneyland Paris 20th Anniversary Celebration Train

Disneyland Paris has just begun celebrating their 20th Anniversary.  There are a couple new songs at the park.  One of them I wrote with my friend Valerie Vigoda.  It’s being used for the character train the goes down Main Street to the Castle several times each day for a character meet and greet.  Thanks to dlrpmagicvideo for posting it!  Yes, those are my kids at the beginning of the song

Easter at Tokyo Disneyland

It’s Easter again at Tokyo Disneyland!  This is the second year of this parade.  Last year, this is that parade that re-opened the park after the tragic earthquake in Japan.  Thank you to chacha3rei8 for posting this great video.

Angelica Vale

I’ve been asked to do an album for Angelica Vale.  She is a Mexican actress, comedienne and singer.  The album is a tribute to her mother, Angelica Maria who has been extremely well known as an actress and singer in Mexico and Latin America since the early ’60′s.  The songs are beautiful and I’m looking forward to working with Angelica next week as we finish up her vocals.  The album should be released in Mexico just in time for Mother’s Day.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Well, just when I can say that it couldn’t get any busier, the phone rings again.  I’m very fortunate to be able to work on so many great projects all at once.

Holland America keeps chugging along.  Three shows that are scheduled to debut on the MS Westerdam in early May.

Tokyo Disneyland – busy working on the new summer splash show that I have written a song for.

Tokyo Disneyland – we will be starting work on some new Halloween material soon.  I will post what I can when I know more.

Warner Mexico – I am starting a wonderful new record for them and should be able to post details later this week.

I’ll try to keep more up to date in between somehow in between arranging, writing and producing my little tail off!

I just found out that Alexander Acha’s single ‘Amiga’ is #1 at radio in Mexico AND Marconi’s ‘Desesperadamente Enamorado’ entered the top 10!  Wow – nice way to start the day!

Tokyo Disneyland “Cool The Heat 2011″ Opens

The summer water show “Cool The Heat” has opened at Tokyo Disneyland. I was lucky enough be asked to submit a song for it. In this clip posted by papaMICKEYokwy, you’ll hear my song “Make A Splash” beginning at about 2 minutes. The second song was written by my friend Eve Nelson: a woman and writer I have tremendous respect for. My good friend Rick McKee in Orlando did the tracks for this show. Great job, Rick!!! Acha Enters at #6! Amiga Video Released

The charts came out yesterday and Alexander Acha “La Vida Es” debuted at #6!  We are all extremely happy about this.

It’s a big day in Mexico!  Well, for me anyway.  Alexander Acha, Marconi and Guadalupe Pineda are all finally on the market.  Hopefully, someone will buy a copy or two!  Hey, maybe even start a “Gringo Boy Production” collection – lol.  Really, who would have thought that a gringo boy from Seattle would get to work with all of this great Latin talent?!  I hope everyone enjoys listening even half as much as we have all enjoyed making all this music!
