Busy, Busy, Busy
February 12 2012
Well, just when I can say that it couldn’t get any busier, the phone rings again. I’m very fortunate to be able to work on so many great projects all at once.
Holland America keeps chugging along. Three shows that are scheduled to debut on the MS Westerdam in early May.
Tokyo Disneyland – busy working on the new summer splash show that I have written a song for.
Tokyo Disneyland – we will be starting work on some new Halloween material soon. I will post what I can when I know more.
Warner Mexico – I am starting a wonderful new record for them and should be able to post details later this week.
I’ll try to keep more up to date in between somehow in between arranging, writing and producing my little tail off!

Happy New Year!!!!!
January 2 2012
The holidays are always crazy around our house and this year was no exception! Here’s a quick update.
Holland America Line
Currently, I’m working on three shows for them (15 songs each – wow!). The people I collaborate with are great and a lot of fun. It’s looking like this could be a relationship that continues for a quite a while and will require quite a lot of my time and attention. I’m really looking forward to this new adventure!
Warner Mexico
I did a beautiful version of Ave Maria for Marconi. I believe it was used over the holidays. As soon as possible, I will post it.
Disneyland Paris
I wrote a song with Valerie Vigoda that will be used in a character parade several times each day around the park. I’m always excited to get to work with my good friend, the music director at the park, Vasile Sirli!
Tokyo Disney
I wrote a song for their summer water show show at TDL and will be arraigning some of the music as well. They are using a few different arrangers and song writers for this show. It’s shaping up to be a blast (of water, that is – haha).
Puss In Boots DVD Bonus Material
I was asked to do some arrangements of children’s nursery rhymes for bonus material on the upcoming DVD release of Puss In Boots for Creative Pulse Media. Lots of fun. More as the release gets closer.
There are a few other things in the works. More as they happen.
Happy New Year to all!
Zendaya on Macys Thanksgiving Day Parade
November 23 2011
Happy Thanksgiving! With more than 3 million views of the video on YouTube, Zendaya is doing great with Dig Down Deeper. Make sure to catch her performing the song on the Macys Thanksgiving Day parade. Im thrilled that something I produced and am so proud of will be showcased in this venue!
Zendaya – Dig Down Deeper video
November 5 2011
Tonight on the Disney Channel is the broadcast premier of the video for the production I did for Zendaya ( @Zendaya96 ) of “Dig Down Deeper” from Disney’s Pixie Hollow Games. Zendaya is one seriously talented girl that I feel lucky have been able to work with. Hopefully, we’ll get to do another one soon! Look out for Pixie Hollow Games on the Disney Channel on November 19th. A slightly different version of the song appears in the show as well – so look out for that.
AND
Zendaya will be performing the song at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on the Build A Bear Float – WOW!
Zendaya in the studio…..
October 20 2011
At our last vocal session, Tiger Beat magazine was there to interview Zendaya and shoot a little behind the scenes. I was shocked to find out that Tiger Beat is still around. As a kid, back in the ’70′s I used to buy Tiger Beat at the grocery store and read about Donny and Marie, Shaun Cassidy, John Travolta and the like. Now it’s Zendaya and her generation and I’m producing. In the video, that’s me sitting to the left of the engineer. How fun!
Here’s the video and check out » Zendaya’s blog as well.
Disney Parks – Together As One campaign
October 8 2011
Among the various Disney projects I’ve been working on for the past several weeks is another for Worldwide Marketing. I was asked to edit a big pile of versions of the One Republic song ‘Good Life.’ While it seemed a simple enough task at the outset, we got the tracks from the band and did very custom edits for the TV spots and all of the different marketing uses that Disney will be employing over the coming months. A lot of fun to be able to spend some time with the fantastic track! For those of you geeky enough to care, there are combinations of instruments and vocals in these spots that never appear anywhere else on the record which is why it was so much fun for me to help create. Here’s the first version they’ve released.
Zendaya and Tinkerbell “Pixie Hollow Games
October 6 2011
I was asked to produce a song for Zendaya from the Disney Channel’s ‘Shake It Up.’ The song will appear both in the TV special and as a single. Zendaya was a blast to work with and her family is fantastic. My daughter is out of her mind that I’m working with one of her favs! (I remind her of it every time I have to get on her case to practice her piano!) The song should debut on Radio Disney and the Disney Channel in late October or early November. I believe the show airs on the Disney Channel on Nov 19. The song-writers are my friends Bendan Milburn and Valerie Vagoda who have written for the other Tink films as well. The song is called Dig Down Deeper. Be on the lookout!
Disney Aulani Resort TV Spot
September 20 2011
As part of my Disney September, one of the projects I was asked to work on is the new TV spot for Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii. Much of the music recording was done in Hawaii. I was asked by the advertising people and the Disney music executive to finish the music production and mix the music here in LA. It was quite a challenge jumping in at the end, but it was fun and gratifying. And now, it’s on TV (and YouTube) Here it is….
It’s a Disney September!
September 2 2011
The summer was pretty quiet, which I enjoyed. I got to have a nice summer break with the family and enjoy time with the kids in the pool and take a couple trips. But, now, the rest of the family is back to school and I’m back to work.
Currently, I have six projects for four different divisions of Disney. In true Disney style, I can’t really write details about any of them until they either air or become official. There are projects for TV advertising, Tokyo Disney, Disneyland Paris and Disney Toon Studios. All of the projects are serious fun and I get to work with some of my great friends at the Mouse. I can say that my daughter is particularly excited about one of the projects in particular!
More to come……..
Disney Parks Memories Website
September 24 2010
A couple months ago, I was asked to write some short pieces for a new Disney website. The new site is a place where people can post and share photos and videos of their memories from Disney Parks. The site launched yesterday so I can finally post about it! After the opening introduction music, all of the music you’ll hear when you’re looking around is mine. It was a really fun project. Share you memories….
